The regular meeting of the Clay-Platte Scottish Rite Club was opened at 7:00 pm by President Ron Hewitt in proper form on June 18, 2007, with prayer by the Chaplain, Virden Daugherty, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to our Flag. There were 14 members, 9 ladies and 1 guest present.

Guest Speaker: There was no speaker.

Sickness: Brother Don Hartstack has returned from the hospital and continues to recover at home. We were very pleased that Don King has recovered sufficiently from his breathing problems to be with us tonight.

Minutes: The Minutes of the May 21, 2007 meeting were approved as published. The Treasurer’s Report: Starting

balance of $621.00, receipts [dues] $15.00, expenditures $100.00 for a closing balance of $536.00 was accepted as read.

Old Business: The President read the cover letter the Treasurer sent to Kiowa Lodge with our check for $100.00.

New Business: There was no new business presented.

Remarks: Lodge and Valley activities were noted. Everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Brother Tony Robbins. David Woehrman, a Fellowcraft who will receive his 3 Degree on July 3, 2007 will soon be going to China for a wrestling competition. We were pleased to congratulate him on both accomplishments.

The meeting was closed in regular form at 7:20 pm.

Dues for 2007 in the amount of $15.00 are now payable. Dues can be mailed directly to the Treasurer; OR BETTER turn them in when you attend the next meeting! If you are not sure of your dues status, check with the Treasurer.

The speaker at the June meeting has not been announced.
